Protesters in front of Bulgaria's parliament block a bus trying to leave the buildingDemonstrators reportedly threw stones at a bus trying to leave the building

Protesters have blocked the doors of Bulgaria's parliament amid mass daily rallies against government corruption.
More than 100 politicians, journalists and staff have been trapped inside the building, local media said. One report said they had been there for five hours.
Demonstrators clashed with riot police in Sofia, the capital, on the 40th day of anti-government rallies.
Earlier the EU's Justice Commissioner said she backed the protesters.
Viviane Reding, who was in the country for a live question and answer session, said on Twitter: "Here in Sofia today, my sympathy is with the Bulgarian citizens who are protesting against corruption."
Turmoil
Tensions rose outside the parliament on Tuesday after ministers discussed budgetary changes.
Crowds surrounded the building shouting "Mafia!" and "Resign!" and prevented a heavily guarded bus from leaving with MPs on board, local media said.
Several protesters and at least one police officer have reportedly been injured.

Bulgaria - the poorest EU member state - has been in political turmoil for months. The current government took office after a snap election in May.
For five weeks it has seen big protests against the coalition government, with thousands of people taking to the streets in Sofia and other cities.
The demonstrations erupted over the controversial appointment of a media mogul, Delyan Peevski, as head of the national security agency.
Prime Minister Plamen Oresharski, who heads a Socialist-led coalition, later revoked the appointment and apologised, but the protests continued.
The world gets its first glimpse of the new member of the Royal Family

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have spent their first night at home with their new son, whose name they have yet to decide upon.
The world caught a glimpse of the third in line to the throne as the royals left St Mary's Hospital in west London.
Speaking outside the hospital, the duke said they were "working on a name" and would choose one "as soon as we can".
They described becoming parents as "very emotional", before the duke drove his family home to Kensington Palace.
Although the couple have yet to decide on a name it is known that the newest royal will be styled HRH Prince (name) of Cambridge.
George is the bookmakers' favourite for the first name of the prince, who is destined to be king one day. James and Alexander are among other names on a short price.
'Wait and see'
The prospect of him being named after his father has been virtually written off by the bookmakers, with both Ladbrokes and Paddy Power rating William as a 50/1 shot.
Asked by the BBC's royal correspondent Peter Hunt if the baby had already been named George, Prince William replied: "Wait and see, Peter, wait and see."
Royal fans waited a week before the name of a newborn Prince William was announced in 1982, and there was a wait of a month following the Prince of Wales' birth in 1948.

The prince and Catherine appeared relaxed and smiled as they appeared with the new arrival on the steps of the hospital in front of a mass of photographers.
The duke told reporters: "He's got a good pair of lungs on him, that's for sure. He's a big boy, he's quite heavy."

He said: "It's the first time we have seen him really so we are having a proper chance to catch up."
Prince William said he would remind his son "of his tardiness when he's a bit older".
"I know how long you've all been standing here so hopefully the hospital and you guys can all go back to normal now and we can go and look after him," he added.
A smiling duchess said: "It's such a special time. I think any parent will know what this feeling feels like."
The couple also revealed William had carried out the first nappy change.
The couple then went back inside the private Lindo Wing and placed their son in a car seat.
A few minutes later they came outside again and departed for Kensington Palace.
Earlier in the afternoon, the couple were visited at the hospital by the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall, and Catherine's parents, Carole and Michael Middleton.
'So thrilled'
Prince Charles said the baby was "marvellous" while Mrs Middleton said he was "absolutely beautiful".
Speaking to reporters as she left the hospital, Mrs Middleton said: "We are so thrilled."

Prince William was at the hospital for the birth at 16:24 BST on Monday, and stayed with his wife and son, who weighed 8lb 6oz (3.8kg), overnight.
The couple said in a statement: "We would like to thank the staff at the Lindo Wing and the whole hospital for the tremendous care the three of us have received.
"We know it has been a very busy period for the hospital and we would like to thank everyone - staff, patients and visitors - for their understanding during this time."

File photo: Iranian asylum seekers who were caught in Indonesian waters while sailing to Australia, sit on a boat, at Benoa port in Bali, Indonesia, 12 May 2013Australia has seen a sharp increase in the number of asylum seekers arriving by boat

At least three people have died after a boat carrying Australia-bound asylum-seekers sank, amid ongoing debate over the new policy.
The boat sank off the Indonesian island of Java, the transit point for people-smugglers.
At least 157 people have been rescued. It is not clear how many are missing.
Meanwhile, Australia's immigration minister said he would investigate abuse claims at the country's offshore processing centre in Papua New Guinea.
Prime Minister Kevin Rudd announced a new asylum policy last week, ahead of polls expected to be announced soon.
Under the policy, asylum-seekers arriving by boat in Australia will be sent to Papua New Guinea (PNG) for processing, and those whose refugee claims are upheld will be settled in PNG, rather than Australia.
Australia has experienced a sharp increase in the number of asylum seekers arriving by boat in recent months. But critics have accused Australia of avoiding responsibility and passing on its problem to a developing nation.
Mr Rudd said that the sinking underlined the need for a policy shift, saying the government had to send "a very clear message to people-smugglers to stop sending people by boat to Australia".

"We are seeing too many drownings, we are seeing too many sinkings, too many innocent people being lost at sea."
PNG is to receive Australian investment as part of the deal. But some PNG politicians say the agreement could cause tensions on the island.
Opposition spokesman Tobias Kulang said PNG had "become a dumping ground for Australia's inadequacies".
"This is an appalling performance by Australia, which with its monetary wealth is able to pass the buck on to poorer countries," he said.
'Helpless and hopeless'
The latest sinking, which happened on Tuesday night, involved passengers who said they were from Iraq, Iran, Sri Lanka and Syria.

At least two children are among the dead.
Another boat carrying around 38 asylum seekers has also been stopped near Christmas Island, reports say.
Many asylum seekers seek to journey to Christmas Island, which is the closest part of Australia to Indonesia and lies 1,600 miles north-west of mainland Australia.
Meanwhile, Immigration Minister Tony Burke said he would travel to Manus Island, Australia's offshore processing centre in PNG, after allegations of abuse there emerged.
A former security manager, Rod St George, told Australia's Special Broadcasting Service that some detainees had been raped and assaulted.
He said the the facilities at the site were not "even fit to be used as a dog kennel".

Mr Burke has described the allegations as "horrific", and said that he intended to "work through" issues at the island.
Asylum policy is expected to be a key issue in Australia's elections, which must take place by 30 November.
An opinion poll on Tuesday suggested that the opposition coalition led Mr Rudd's Labor party by 52% to 48% after preferences.
However, Mr Rudd is still polled as voters' preferred prime minister, at 50%, compared to opposition leader Tony Abbott's 34%.
Mr Rudd ousted Julia Gillard as Labor Party leader last month, amid dismal pre-election polling figures.

Manufacturing and export sectors have been key drivers of China's growth

China's manufacturing activity fell to an 11-month low in July, hurt by a decline in new orders, according to a preliminary survey by HSBC.
The bank's Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) fell to 47.7 from 48.2 in June.
The PMI is a key indicator of activity in the sector and a reading below 50 shows contraction. This is the third month in a row that the HSBC reading has been below that level.
The data comes amid fears of a slowdown in China's overall economy.
Data released earlier this month showed that China's economic growth slowed in the April to June period, the second straight quarter of weaker expansion.
The world's second biggest economy grew by 7.5% compared to the previous year, down from 7.7% in the January to March period.
Further slowdown?
China's manufacturing and export sectors have been key drivers of its economic growth over the past decades.
However, demand for China's exports has slowed recently, especially from key markets such as the US and Europe as they grapple with slowing economic growth.
At the same time, policymakers have found it tough to boost domestic consumption enough to offset the decline in foreign sales.
That has led to concerns that a slowing demand from key markets coupled with a subdued domestic consumption may hurt growth in China's manufacturing sector and impact China's overall economic growth.
Hongbin Qu, chief economist China at HSBC that weaker new orders played a key role in a slowdown in manufacturing activity in July.
Zhiwei Zhang, an economist with Nomura, added: "The fall in the index is in line with our view of growth momentum fading further in the coming quarters".

Mr Zhang said that he expects China's growth to slow to an annual rate of 7.4% in the current quarter and 7.2% in the final quarter of the year.

iPhone in China Apple StoreThe jump in iPhone sales may help allay some fears over Apple's slowing growth rate

Shares of computer and smartphone maker Apple rose nearly 5% in after-hours trading after it reported better-than-expected profits for the third quarter.
It made $6.9bn (£4.5bn) profit for three months to June, thanks in part to good sales of its iPhone smartphone.
Apple said it sold 31.2 million iPhones, a record for the June quarter, compared to 26 million last year.
But profit was down 22% from the same period a year earlier as its profit margins shrank to 36.98% from 42.8%.
However, average sale prices were lower at $581, compared with $608 a year ago.
Its revenue was also better than expected, with the company earning $35.3bn, although that was barely above the $35bn of a year ago.
Analysts said the data, especially on iPhone sales, may help allay some fears of a slowdown in Apple's growth rate.
"The iPhone number should provide some comfort to investors who were worried about smartphone demand," said Shannon Cross of Cross Research.
"That's one of the reasons the stock is up. Expectations were not strong for this quarter."
Outstripped
One of the brakes on the robust pace of growth that Apple has enjoyed in recent years has been the growing popularity of rivals such as Samsung - which has now become the world's biggest mobile phone maker - as well as the launch of low-cost smartphone by Chinese manufacturers.
According to its latest numbers, Apple's sales in China were also down by 4% in the April to June period.
Research firm IDC has estimated that 66% of the 385 million smartphones sold in China next year will cost less than $200 - significantly less than the cost of Apple's iPhone.
That has led some investors to fear that Apple may have to cut the price of its products in an attempt to attract customers.
At the same time, sales of its the iPad tablet computer, fell by 14% to 14.6 million units, compared with 17 million a year ago.
New products
Apple has spent most of the past 10 years as the darling of consumers and investors.
But a lack of new products - its last innovation was the iPad in 2010 - has seen faith in it wane recently, and strong competition from South Korea's Samsung in particular, has also eaten into its market share.
That has seen investors dump the stock. Its shares have dipped nearly 40% since hitting the peak in September last year.
This is the second quarter in a row that the technology giant's earnings have been below those of the previous year.
Analysts said that while the latest numbers were better than they had estimated, the company needed to come up with new products in order to keep growing at a robust pace.
"This was a 'blah' quarter and the story hasn't changed," said Adam Sarhan, chief executive of Sarhan Capital.
"Until it delivers a new, innovative product that really adds to both top and bottom-line, I would expect the stock to continue treading water."
For his part, Apple's boss. Tim Cook, said that the company was going to introduce new products soon.
"We are laser-focused and working hard on some amazing new products that we will introduce in the fall [autumn] and across 2014," he said.
Cory Monteith
A memorial for the cast and crew will take place
 later this week

Glee creator Ryan Murphy has said he is planning to make a special tribute episode to honour cast member Cory Monteith who died last weekend.
Speaking in a number of US interviews, Murphy said the tribute would feature as the third episode of the fifth series, which begins in September.
It has yet to be decided exactly how Monteith's death will be addressed on screen.
But Murphy confirmed Monteith's character would not be re-cast.
He said the "right thing to do" would be to "have that character pass".
Murphy added that after the tribute, the show would take an "extended hiatus" to evaluate its future.
Monteith was found dead in a hotel in Vancouver last Saturday. A post-mortem said he died from a heroin and alcohol overdose.
Cory Monteith and Lea MicheleMurphy said Monteith's girlfriend, Lea Michele, wanted to go back to work
"When you're faced with something so sad and so shocking, what do you do? Do we cancel the show? Do we start shooting in January? What do we do?" Murphy told The Hollywood Reporter.
"Ultimately, we decided the best thing for everyone is to get back to work and be around people who knew him and loved him so that everyone can grieve together."
The first two episodes of the next series - a planned Beatles tribute which has already been written - will be filmed next month ahead of the tribute.
US network Fox announced last week the fifth series would begin on 26 September - a week later than originally planned.
Murphy said the decision to return to work was made by Monteith's girlfriend and fellow cast member, Lea Michele.
"If Lea had said to me, 'I could never do this again and I don't want to do this again,' - you know, she is sort of the show... I would've, out of respect to her as a person, said OK," he told E! News.
"But that's not how Lea operates; that's not how she feels. That was never on the table for her. Nothing has been done and will be done in terms of any of the material without Lea blessing it and making sure it's OK with her."
"When we do the tribute episode to that character, we'll have to do it in a way where the cast members will not have to re-create feelings of grief that they've had this week - but do it in an upbeat way," he said.
"If we can do this responsibly and help young people through these feelings, that's the best that we can hope for."
A memorial for cast and crew is planned for later this week at Paramount's studios.

MorrisseyMorrissey has suffered from double pneumonia, food poisoning and a bleeding ulcer in recent months

Morrissey has apologised to fans after cancelling the remainder of his South American tour due to a "lack of funding".
The former Smiths frontman had postponed 14 dates earlier this month after suffering from food poisoning.
Poor health has forced the singer to axe almost all of his tour dates this year, including his North American leg.
Writing on the fan site True To You, Morrissey said it had been a year of "too many disappointments".
"I am informed today that the projected tour of South America is snuffed out, thus euthanised - due, I'm reliably advised, to lack of funding," he wrote.
"It's quite easy to sell tickets, yet impossible to transport band and crew from F to G. This really is the last of many final straws and I am not alone in feeling this."
The singer went on to say his apologies for cancelling his tour dates were now so frequent, it was "somewhat ridiculous".
"It is agonising to be responsible for imparting such news - especially when it springs upon me unexpectedly and inexplicably. But the collapse of South America rings the curtain down with a colossal thud.
"Cancellations and illness have sucked the life out of all of us, and the only sensible solution seems to be the art of doing nothing."
In March, Morrissey cancelled his US tour following a series of what he called "medical mishaps".
The 53-year-old has suffered from a number of illnesses in recent months including a bleeding ulcer, Barrett's oesophagus and double pneumonia.
The South American tour had been due to end in Rio de Janeiro on 4 August.
