Jay-Z's 'Open Letter' Set For 'Magna Carta Holy Grail' Vinyl Release

Jay-Z "Open Letter" will see official release.

Love or don't love "Magna Carta Holy Grail," one thing is clear: The album would have been even better had it included "Open Letter," the blistering track Jay-Z released back in April.
The song found Jay-Z rapping about his controversial trip to Cuba with wife Beyonce. "Politicians never did sh-t for me / except lie to me, distort history," Jay raps, later adding that he "done turned Havana into Atlanta."

"They wanna give me jail time and a fine -- Fine, let me commit a real crime," he raps on "Open Letter" about the Cuba trip, before giving a shout-out to the President of the United States, Barack Obama: "Obama said, 'Chill you're going to get me impeached' / You don't need this sh-t anyway, chill with me on the beach."
"Open Letter": greatness. Yet not on "Magna Carta Holy Grail" -- or at least the version of the album that Samsung users downloaded this past weekend (and other Jay fans can find via traditional outlets like iTunes and Spotify right now). During his massive Twitter dump on Monday, however, Jay revealed that "Open Letter" will be available, so long as interested parties possess a record player.
