KARACHI: A doctor in Civil Hospital operated the right leg of the patient when she required surgery on the left, here on late Tuesday.

According to the sources, a 25-year woman Najma Begum was admitted to the hospital for her surgery in the left leg, however, the doctor mistakenly placed a rod in her right during the operation.

After viewing media teams’ presences in the hospital the medical staff escaped from the counter and wards.

The family members of the patients while protesting against the alleged negligence of the doctor demanded immediate action against him.
